User Forum meets 13 June in Prague

The UNIFARM project holds its final meeting with the User Forum: A group of key-stakeholders to discuss GNSS applications and adoption. GNSS is a major enabler of all kinds of innovations in agriculture, including logistics, precision farming and parcel registration.

The programme will be finalised soon and will be published on this website.

The Forum discusses user requirements, the research agenda, policy aspects and good practices to stimulate awareness and innovations in agriculture.  The User Forum is a continuation of the UNIFARM project that has been active for two years to express the ‘voice of the user’ concerning user needs and expectations from satellite navigation and its application in the agricultural domain. In the Forum, agricultural GNSS stakeholders include farmers organisations, agricultural engineering industry, geospatial industry, the space industry, application developers, the academic community and policy makers. This User Forum meeting will focus on results of past years and looking forward to new developments, issues and opportunities for GNSS use in agriculture.

The UNIFARM User Forum meeting on Friday 13 June 2014 is a side event to the European Space Solutions conference from 11-13 June 2014 in Prague. Please let us know if you are able and willing to participate in our User Forum meeting. If you want to participate to the Space Solutions conference, you must register at their website too, at www.space-solutions.eu.
